July 26 & 27th at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted, Chicago. New Vision of Hope Foundation (NVHF), a non-profit organization and E3 Radio, in association with the Center on Halsted, present the 1st Annual ‘Girlz.Got.Game’ 3-on-3 Basketball Classic and Health Fair. Only girls and women ages 16–55+ can play but the entire community is welcome to participate in the activities. Free HIV, Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, BMI screenings and much more. The purpose of this event is to create a fun/safe sporting event, encourage healthy competition/teamwork, and to educate on the important health and wellness issues facing our community. All proceeds will benefit NVHF’s Youth/Adults for AIDS Prevention Outreach Program and E3 Radio of which produces authentically-edgy socially conscious radio.
